MAD FOREST, 2004
In 2004, Nicola worked with one of the young directors training on the directing course at Drama Centre on a module bringing the directors together with designers studying at the University of the Arts, London. The resulting Brechtian-style performance, extracts of which are shown below, was a roughly rehearsed version of Caryl Churchill's play Mad Forest, a play set during the Ceausescu regime in Romania in the late 1980s.
